The team banner and birds were painted on a brick wall. I took the team shot then created the background in the team colours and added the banner. Posted by Picasa

A higher ASA setting helped me shoot this assignment. 1600 ASA allows me to shoot indoor events without having to use flash.  Posted by Picasa

Did an assignment for a local highschool. It's great that the use of digital cameras allow you to correct the white balance. This helps to keep the colours true. Posted by Picasa

Was invited to shoot a fashion show that was put on by the fashion/design students at Seneca College. With the help of Photoshop I was able to add some lights and flare to spice it up a bit Posted by Picasa

Lord Stanley's Cup on display at the Hockey Hall of Fame. Their is a "photo spot" to get a shot of the cup with the Hockey Hall of Fame logo in the background. I chose this angle to include the players plaques which are on either side of the Hall of Fame logo. If you are shooting with a digital camera don't be affraid to change the ASA setting and use the natural light. I had my camera's ASA set at 1600 and I like the grainy feel of the shot. Posted by Picasa

Mark Messier faces off against Buffalo's Brian Hollzinger. The Rangers of the late 90's were a rebirth of sorts of the 80's Edmonton Oilers. The trick to shooting hockey games is to get as close to the glass as possible or above it. Posted by Picasa

Big John Daly tried to drive a golf ball across the Niagara Gorge. A 427 yard carry into a rather stiff cross wind. He was promoting his new course Thundering Waters which opened in the fall of 2005. Posted by Picasa

These types of high key images were very popular in the 80's. It was very good for removing flaws in the skin. Today you can just use photoshop to get rid of and skin problems. Posted by Picasa

Usher's Creek Golf Course. One of the three courses at Legends on the Niagara. This shot would be a rather average image if it was taken in the middle of the day. Early morning and late afternoon/evening are the best times to pull out your camera. The warm light and long shadows can turn an average shot into a great shot. Posted by Picasa

The Clubhouse at Legends on the Niagara Golf Course. Niagara Falls, Canada. It's nice that the sun sets right behind the clubhouse. It makes for a beautiful back drop. Posted by Picasa
