Took this shot in 1984. It was taken at Point Abino, near Fort Erie, Ontario. It was about 9:30am and the gods were on my side as the sun peeked out for about 45 seconds while a friend and I were taking shots. It was about -15 degrees Celsius. Posted by Hello

When I was a little girl my Dad took me up in the Point Abino lighthouse (he worked with the lighthouse keeper years earlier). That lighthouse will always hold a place in my heart. My Dad is still here, 78 and going strong, and that Point Abino lighthouse has many memories for him also. I'm not quite sure of the status of the lighthouse, it was for sale a few years back and others were trying to save it for historical purposes, etc. I will look into that. Thanks for guiding me to the lighthouse (and heck, no smoke signals necessary).
